JOB ROLE/SUMMARY
Provide support to the Guidance and Counseling Office through the effective implementation of
the testing program.

Ensure the accuracy and validity of tests and gather data that will be instrumental to improving the performance of students.


ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to :
GCO Director

Coordinates with :
Guidance Counselor, Guidance Facilitator and SDAS
Administrative Assistant
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handles the testing program of the GCO;
  • Organize and maintains psychological testing services file;
  • Prepares and coordinates the scheduling, administration, profiling and interpretation of the different psychological tests;
  • Administers psychological tests to students;
  • Submits the students' individual test results and profile to respective Counselors and Facilitator;
  • Prepares and submits psychological testing services monthly accomplishment report;
  • Updates the internally generated document, quality records masterlist, process manual,
monitoring sheets and forms of psychological testing services;

  • Prepares GCO minutes of the meeting;
  • Prepares the Online Faculty Evaluation System (OFES) summary report;
  • Coordinates with SDAS Administrative Assistant for OFES;
  • Conducts intake and exit interviews to students;
  • Prepares Test Summary Report per college;
  • Assists in the conduct of programs and activities of GCO;
  • Monitors and requests for procurement of psychological test materials;
  • Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time;
  • Acts as ISO document controller of the department.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • BS/BA in Psychology
  • Registered Psychometrician

Experience:

  • At least 3 years experience as a Psychometrician
  • At least 3 years experience in a school setting

Desirable Traits:

  • Knowledgeable in different psychological test, its administration and interpretation
  • Reliable and independent
  • Must be approachable and accommodating
  • Must be a team player, result-oriented, and with a strong sense of urgency
