Detailed Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Student Engagement:

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategies and programs to enhance student engagement, involvement, and overall satisfaction.
  • Lead the collaboration with student organizations and academic departments to integrate co-curricular activities that enrich the overall student experience.

2. Scholarship, Grants, and Programs:

  • Lead the development of partnerships that enhance the range of scholarships, grants, programs, and other opportunities available to students.
  • Guide students through the scholarship application process, providing information on eligibility criteria, deadlines, and required documentation.
  • Lead the collaboration with donors, faculty, and external organizations to establish new scholarship opportunities.

3. Student Services:

  • Connect students with relevant school resources, including health services, facilities, food services, housing accommodations, and placement services.

4. Student Advocacy and Concerns:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of effective communication channels to keep students informed about available resources, events, and opportunities.
  • Serve as an advocate for students, addressing their concerns and needs within the institution.
  • Lead the implementation of feedback mechanisms to assess student satisfaction and make data-driven improvements.
  • Lead the collaboration with faculty, administration, and external organizations to create a supportive and inclusive campus culture.

5. Leadership and Team Management:

  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of Student Life professionals in areas such as student engagement, student services, student concerns, and student scholarships.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that values diversity and promotes a positive working environment.

6. Compliance and Policy Development:

  • Leads the compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to student affairs and services.
  • Lead the development and updates of policies and procedures that promote a safe and inclusive campus environment.
  • Develop comprehensive policy proposals based on the identified needs, best practices, legal requirements, industry standards, and input from stakeholders.
  • Monitor the implementation process, address any challenges, regularly review and revise, and provide ongoing support and training to ensure consistent compliance with policies.

7. Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement long-term strategic plans for the department in alignment with PCCR's organizational goals.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and enhancement of the department and its services.

8. Team Leadership:

  • Supervise, mentor, support, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Foster a collaborative team culture and work environment.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and recognize outstanding contributions.

9. Training and Development:

  • Train and develop team members, ensuring a high level of competence and adherence to best practices.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends related to the department.

10. Budget Management:

  • Collaborate with relevant departments to develop and manage the program budget.
  • Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial efficiency.

11. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

  • Collaborate with other departments to address cross-functional needs.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between departments for Student Life-related projects.

Job Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or equivalent.

A postgraduate degree is an advantage.

  • A PRC license (Registered Psychometrician, Registered Guidance Counselor, or Registered Psychologist) is an advantage.
  • With at least 5 years experience in Student Affairs work in a higher-education institution.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms)
  • Must be willing to work onsite in Sta. Cruz, Manila

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php53,153.00 per month

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • 13th month salary
