Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Bilingual IT Support Specialist to provide full-time support for our organization's IT infrastructure, with a focus on Windows, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Teams. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish and will be responsible for troubleshooting, managing, and maintaining our IT systems, ensuring smooth operations, and providing high-quality technical support to all employees.Key Responsibilities:
● Technical Support: Provide first-line support and troubleshooting for Windows OS, Microsoft 365 applications, SharePoint, and Teams in both English and Spanish. Respond to and resolve user issues promptly, both remotely and on-site.
● User Management: Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings within Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Teams. Ensure all user access and rights are properly configured and maintained in a bilingual environment.
● System Maintenance: Regularly monitor, maintain, and upgrade Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, SharePoint sites, and Teams environments. Ensure all systems are up-to-date with the latest patches and updates.
● SharePoint Administration: Manage and maintain SharePoint sites and libraries, including the creation, customization, and configuration of sites, lists, and workflows. Assist users with SharePoint functionalities and best practices, providing support in both languages.
● Teams Administration: Support and manage Microsoft Teams, including setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and user training. Develop and implement best practices for Teams usage to enhance collaboration across the organization in both English and Spanish.
● Training and Documentation: Provide training and technical support to end-users on Windows, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Teams in both English and Spanish. Create and maintain bilingual user guides, documentation, and training materials.
● Security and Compliance: Assist in implementing and enforcing IT security policies and practices. Ensure all systems comply with security standards and data protection regulations.
● Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor system performance and provide regular reports to the IT Manager. Proactively identify potential issues and recommend solutions to enhance system performance and user experience.
● Collaboration: Work closely with the IT team and other departments to ensure effective communication and support across the organization. Participate in IT projects and initiatives as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications:
● Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
● Experience:
○ Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
○ Experience with Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Teams.● Technical Skills:
○ Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365 suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneDrive.
○ Experience with SharePoint administration, site management, and workflows.
○ Proficiency in Microsoft Teams administration and support.
○ Basic understanding of network fundamentals and security best practices.
● Language Skills:
○ Fluent in both English and Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
● Soft Skills:
○ Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
○ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
○ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
○ Detail-oriented with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
● Certifications:
○ Microsoft certifications (such as MCSA, MCSE, or Microsoft 365 Certified) are a plus.
