2GO Logistics is the largest enabler of all logistical needs in the country. The company provides warehousing solutions, land transport full truck load, land transport cross-dock and other value-added solutions.

2GO Special Containers and Value-added Services (SCVASI) is The Philippines' Leading Provider of Reefers, Flexibags, ISO Tanks, and Special Projects. SCVASI offers a wide range of services, which includes in-land and domestic freight reefer transportation, liquid bulk transport in ISO tanks and flexi-tanks, ISO tanks and flexi-tanks repairs and maintenance, reefer van lease and maintenance, crating and packaging, and cold storage among others.

The 2GO Logistics and SCVASI IT Team provides development, enhancement, maintenance, and support services to the different Warehouse Management, Transport Management, Container and Shipping systems, and custom applications used by the two business units.

We seek a talented, experienced, and motivated IT Manager to lead our IT Team 2GO Logistics and SCVASI. In this role, your main responsibility will be to lead, manage, and mentor developers and the applications they oversee. Your role will be pivotal in 1) ensuring the availability and reliability of our systems through production support and 2) delivering high-quality, custom-developed solutions that meet business needs.

The ideal candidate should have Logistics, Warehousing, Transportation, Shipping and other related experience, a robust developer and technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, a collaborative personality, process-oriented attitude, a passion for delivering high-quality solutions, and willingness to perform legwork for support and development/enhancements when needed.

Responsibilities:

Function as Solution Delivery Manager for Development, Enhancement and Support: Responsible for the overall management of the Logistics and SCVASI Solution Delivery team to maintain the application solution, keeping it at a running state and putting improvements in place.Monitor, control, and support service delivery activities framework, including management of change requests/service requests from key stakeholders, analysis of production issues, and assistance in providing viable solutions.Drive internal and third-party service review meetings covering performance, service improvements, quality and processes within new projects or major releases, ensure that service/support activities impacts are managed, agreed upon, and ensure that service/support activities can be performed according to standard processes and best practices.Collaborate with Project Managers, users, and cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements, converting them into technical specifications.Create, execute, and manage a well-defined project plan and schedule with tasks and resource assignments.Manage development projects through delivery using various methodologies like Agile and Waterfall.Lead the analysis, design, development, review, and implementation of software applications using defined tech-stack languages and frameworks to meet business requirements within agreed timelines.Maintain and enhance existing Warehouse Management, Transport Management, Container and Shipping systems (e.g., SaaS applications, On-premises applications, web applications, custom applications, integrations, reports, and the likes) by troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and implementing enhancements and fixes.Provide production support, monitor application performance, and troubleshoot issues to ensure system availability and reliability.Investigate, Coordinate, and Resolve application-related incidents and problems, adhering to established incident management processes.Document technical specifications, system configurations, and support procedures to ensure proper knowledge transfer and supportability.Assist and collaborate with other IT teams in supporting, enhancing, or implementing applications when required.Manage, coach, train, and mentor direct reports. Qualifications:Solid functional knowledge of Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport, Shipping Business Processes.Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Managing, Supporting, Enhancing Warehouse Management, Transport Management, Container and Shipping systems, and other related enterprise-level applications. Experience with Infor WMS is preferred but not required. Experience in both production support and application development for, but not limited to, packaged applications (SAP, Infor), web-applications, APIs, integrations, reports, EDI B2B, and backend applications.Experience in managing production support and development teams.Experience in leading and managing complex projects with end-to-end Implementation Projects along with experience in Support / Roll out / Upgrade ProjectsSolid understanding of database concepts and experience working with SQL and relational databases (e.g., Postgres, Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server).Knowledge and experience in AWS applications and services.Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging application issues, with the ability to analyze complex problems and provide effective solutions.Familiarity with the ITIL framework and incident management processes is a bonus, but not a requirement.Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Self-motivated and proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
