A2R Analyst II

As part of Vestas Global Finance Shared Service Centre, the role primarily provides standardized, rule-based services to the region. This refers to the end-to-end processes of Accounts Receivable. Senior Accountant proactively works with the Team Leader and Manager in monitoring and providing support in the overall Accounts Receivable function.

Responsibilities

• Acts as SME and 1st level point of escalation for daily production issues and concerns
• Participate in further improvement and optimization of AR processes, and procedures in Finance and Accounting
• Responsible for consolidating and monitoring non-standard processes and Accounts Receivable processes not yet migrated to SSC
• Participate/Assist in the implementation of AR projects
• Improve error resolution of overall Accounts Receivable function
• Proactively engage and collaborate with Regional Finance, Treasury, and other business stakeholders, to solve operational issues and problems with speed and quality
• Proactively escalate issues to the supervisor/manager that require intervention/clarification from senior leadership
• Review and consolidate monthly operational decks
• Performs analytical review and validation to ensure 100% achievement of KPIs and PPIs for the entire AR function
• Ensure regular oversight of the backup system and inform the Team Leader of any issues that arise with its operation
• Review and finalize documentation and ensure timely and complete upload/submission in SAP GRC
• Provide internal and external audit support as requested
• Monitor and ensure tasks are performed timely according to the AR Task list
• Participate in the monthly operational call with the stakeholders
• Ensure that SOPs are reviewed and updated
• Provide support on the monthly accounting close process and critical business partner issues
• Contribute effective process improvement & standardization regularly with compliance with Vestas Global policy
• Develop training materials and conduct (cross) training within the AR ICO team and other SSC functions
• Ensure that Operational and Quality KPIs are met based on target
• Review commentaries provided by Jr and Accountant whether valid or insufficient for KPIs and SAP GRC reports
• Support the Team Lead monitor for anticipated issues that will cover KPIs. Propose solutions to address issues affecting KPI
• Create and assist in validating or reviewing the proposed quick wins, and benefits and consolidate the necessary documentation
• Monitor the progress of AR projects
• Participate in projects relating to building partnerships with customers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, and another accounting-related course
• At least three to four (4-5) years of experience in to cash process
• Knowledge of SAP and MS Office tools
• Must have Problem-Solving, Decision-Making Skills and Presentation skills
• Good English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Flexible and willing to work on holidays as needed and, on any shift, as may be assigned
• Independent and can work with minimal supervision
• With positive behavior and attitude. Can blend well with different kinds of personalities

Competencies

• Above average English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience in the end-to-end accounts receivable process
• Highly Analytical and strategic problem-solving skills
• Exposure to ERP platforms - SAP preferred
• Adept in data presentation and analysis
• Good communication skills - able to interact with multiple stakeholders both internal and external
• Willingness to learn different systems and take on other tasks as may be assigned
• A clear sense of urgency and ability to step up whenever the need arises
• Good work ethic and exemplary self-leadership skills
• High multi-tasking capabilities; able to work in a target-focused and busy environment
• Proficiency in MS Office applications particularly Microsoft Excel, Macro proficiency enhances productivity
• Self-motivated, Independent and can work with minimal supervision
• With positive behavior and attitude, a leader
• Showcases professionalism and a role model to more junior staff
