A Specialist that will be part of IT Infrastructure Team that will provide technical support either onsite or remote for every IT issue encountered by end users ensuring seamless usage of general IT resources that enables the business to function properly.


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


 Creates and handles service requests and incidents related to back-office workstations, printing
systems, IP Phones, and IT related equipment to ensure minimal interruption to business
operations.
 Serves as the first level escalation for end user workstation issues and related.
 Provide physical and remote IT support for end users.
 Owns hardware/software troubleshooting as well as diagnosis of workstations.
 Configure, install, and manage various hardware and software installations and maintenance.
 Acts and resolves IT alerts
 Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
 Maintains the necessary inventory and keeps it updated all the time.
 Conducts backups and makes sure that scheduled backups are running properly.
 Basic user administration (User create, edit, delete, and password resets) for systems used by
operations.
 Basic network troubleshooting
 Monitor system resource utilization
 Maintain infrastructure monitoring tools, policies and procedures in conjunction with the
company policy.
 Interface with other Business Units or related teams for service requests and incidents.
 Adhere to enterprise service management practice including but not limited to incident,
problem, and change management.
 Implements IT infrastructure related projects initiated by the management.
 Overall maintenance of good IT infrastructure health.
 Updated in the latest technologies related to workstations, Server hardware, end user software,
productivity tools, remote assistance tools, monitoring tools, and infrastructure setup.
 Responsible on maintaining quality technical documentation as well as technical support
operations.
 Coordinates with IT vendors in reporting warranty claims and maintenance of other IT
equipment

Qualifications

2 to 4 years' experience as IT SpecialistAmendable to work in Makati in shifting schedule
