Finance Controller

Reporting to the CFO and Controller, the Assistant Controller will own and drive key aspects of accounting and financial operations for several business units at TDV. Initial focus will be revenue management. The right candidate will be dynamic, hardworking, and will have the opportunity to manage a portion of the existing accounting team, implement best practice and help scale the company. This individual will help lead the external audit and interface with outside parties.

Responsibilities


• Own the AR process, credit & collections, and incentive payouts with the AR team


• Own, reconcile and direct key accounts in a tight GL month-end close process


• Prepare the month-end reporting package with an analysis of any variances


• Review all processes owned or impacted by accounting and establish or improve upon formal written processes/policies


• Coordinate with CFO and Controller to improve and maintain all accounting systems


• Lead the annual external audit and prepare the required reporting


• Manage all analysis and compliance for taxes including Federal, State, Corporate,


• Sales, Use, and R&D tax credits


• Perform accounting research; will need to speak fluent US GAAP in order to plan and implement new accounting initiative

Qualifications


• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance


• 10 years or more of progressive SaaS/software or related experience required including managing staff


• Strong knowledge of GAAP


• US CPA license strongly preferred


• Excellent data and Excel skills


• Experience with Sage Intacct or large ERP system a plus


• Able to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment


• Strong written & verbal communication


• Strong mentoring, coaching experience to a team with diverse levels of expertise
