Head of Global Account Sales

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead our sales efforts within our major accounts across the Asia Pacific region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding our footprint within the target client base, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Channel Strategy and Development:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive channel strategy for Asia Pacific, aligning with overall company goals and objectives.
    • Identify and evaluate potential vendors and partners to expand our channel network.
    • Foster strong relationships with existing vendors and partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and mutual growth.
    • Drive channel expansion initiatives, including onboarding new vendors, partners, and resellers.
  • Vendor Relationship Management:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for vendors and resellers in the Asia Pacific region.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, sales teams, and technical support.
    • Define and negotiate favorable rebate programs.
    • Collaborate closely with vendors and partners to develop joint marketing initiatives, sales campaigns, and training programs.
    • Conduct regular business reviews with Country Managers, vendors and partners to assess performance, identify growth opportunities, and address challenges.
  • Sales Enablement and Support:
    • Work closely with the sales team to provide channel enablement, including product training, sales tools, and resources.
    • Develop compelling marketing campaigns and collateral to support strategic partners.
    • Support the sales team in resolving channel-related issues, providing guidance, and facilitating communication between internal teams and external partners.
  • Marketing:
    • Define and manage a marketing strategy to raise brand awareness in the market.
    • Define and manage a social media strategy.
    • Create globally relevant marketing collateral to support sales in terms of new partnerships, new initiatives and vertically relevant project references.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting:
    • Define and track key performance metrics for the channel management function, including sales targets, partner performance, and market trends.
    • Provide regular reports and analysis to senior management, highlighting channel performance, opportunities, and risks.
    • Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement within the channel management function.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in channel management, strategic partnerships, or business development, preferably within the audio-visual or technology industry.
  • Strong network and existing relationships with vendors, partners, and resellers in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute channel strategies, drive revenue growth, and achieve business objectives.
  • Solid understanding of the audio-visual industry, market dynamics, and emerging trends.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and insights to make informed decisions.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
