We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Information Technology Project Manager to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage complex IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. The successful candidate will have the chance to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with various teams and stakeholders

What you'll do:

As an Information Technology Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of our technological initiatives. You will be responsible for leading diverse teams towards the successful completion of IT projects. Your day-to-day tasks will involve developing comprehensive project plans, monitoring progress, communicating effectively with all stakeholders, reviewing proposed modifications on project plans, overseeing resource acquisition, and anticipating future project details. Your strategic planning skills will play a crucial role in aligning customer requirements with company goals.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases.
  • Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
  • Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Review proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with interested parties to approve and implement beneficial changes.
  • Oversee acquisition of resources and materials as needed before and during projects by talking with customers, team members, managers, and in-house accountants and negotiating price and payment agreements with vendors.
  • Anticipate details of future projects by communicating directly with customers and staying informed of relevant trends and industry news.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Information Technology Project Manager position brings a wealth of experience in managing IT projects. You possess a strong understanding of formal project management methodologies. Your background includes strategic planning, risk management, change management, along with proficiency in using project management software tools. As a leader, you are known for your decision-making abilities even under pressure. Your exceptional communication skills enable you to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively.

  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager or similar role for at least 5 years.
  • Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management and vendor management.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools e.g., JIRE.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Certifications are a good plus (CAPM, PMP, CSM, etc.).
