Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment)

The HR and Admin Supervisor will oversee and manage the daily operations of the Human Resources (HR) and Administration departments. This role requires a proactive and strategic individual to ensure the efficient delivery of HR services, compliance with labor laws, and the effective management of administrative tasks. The HR and Admin Supervisor will lead a team, manage employee relations, and support the development of a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Management:

  • Oversee recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Implement and manage HR policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with labor laws and company standards.
  • Conduct employee orientation and training programs to ensure a smooth integration into the company.
  • Manage performance appraisal systems and provide guidance on employee development and career progression.
  • Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR databases.

Administrative Management:

  • Supervise the administration team and ensure efficient office operations.
  • Oversee office facility management, including maintenance, supplies, and vendor relations.
  • Coordinate company events, meetings, and training sessions.
  • Manage travel arrangements and expense reporting for staff.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace.

Strategic HR Initiatives:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's business goals.
  • Monitor HR metrics and analyze data to inform decision-making and improve HR processes.
  • Support diversity and inclusion initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR and administration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in HR and administrative roles, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory position.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Work Environment: The HR and Admin Supervisor will primarily work in an office setting, with occasional travel required for recruitment, training, or company events.
