JOB SUMMARY:

The Parts Sales Manager optimizes the productivity of projects specifically related to the improvement of parts ordering and sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Responsible for the management of the Parts Ordering Representatives; including performance evaluations, disciplinary action, time and attendance, budget management, policy communication, document management, bonus and annual pay increase recommendations.


• Financial management of parts sales including profit and cost management as well as preparation of company reports pertaining to departmental budget, parts sales, and freight expenses.


• Participate in the establishment of parts program guidelines including Dealer stocking programs, parts sales programs, oil programs, and the development of Dealer special parts sales and marketing programs.


• Coordinate with distribution operations to ensure timely order fulfillment levels.


• Participate in the management of the online parts systems.


• Mentor new Dealers and provide training on parts, warranty, sales, and general product knowledge.


• Responsible for KPI reporting, KPI results, and accountable for departmental improvements including, but not limited to, process improvements, order volumes, stocking volumes, and labor reports.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED AND PREFERRED:


• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a similar field


• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in sales in a similar industry


• Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 Office – Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint is required


• Effective leadership and sales skills


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Demonstrates effective negotiation and closing techniques


• Strong analysis and judgement skills


• Works well in a team environment
