We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Technical Manager – Private Equity.

This role is responsible from a technical management point of view of the Private Equity Process for the GPB EU entities. The Private Equity Team main activities/responsibilities include Capital Calls, Distribution (mandatory events), and the periodic valuation of PE funds responsible for dealing with highly complex technical investigations, and high-risk issues involving Private Equity. He/she is responsible for building the technical expertise within the teams and delivering on process efficiencies. He/she will assist with managing stakeholders across multiple countries and ensuring that risk is considered & minimized within the processes.

  • Ensures that Operational Losses are kept to minimum levels.
  • Provides timely & accurate responses to any inquiries raised by internal or external stakeholders.
  • Understands FIM requirements, Business Partner & Local Procedures, and Audit Controls.
  • Ensures all work items are prioritized effectively, reducing the risk of missing cut off times.

Requirements:

  • University Graduate. Ideally 18-36 months experience in handling/managing Private Equities
  • Excellent knowledge of the Banking Industry
  • Sound understanding of the Private Equity Operations
  • Solid understanding of the Private Equity Reconciliations
  • Knowledge on the Core Private Banking System (Avaloq) is a plus

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.

The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting.
