The Opportunity

Climate change and sustainability and its environmental, social and economic impact continue to rise on the agendas of governments and organizations around the world. Organizations not only face regulatory impacts, but also expectations for action from wide range of stakeholders, including employees, investors, lenders, customers and suppliers.

  • Non-financial reporting advisory and assurance

  • Sustainability advisory and assurance

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in developing strategies on how to embed sustainability in their business operations, risk management, systems and processes
  • Help businesses develop strategies to address compliance with regulations relating to sustainability
  • Assist clients with greenhouse gas emissions and energy monitoring, reporting and reduction opportunities.
  • Contribute to providing independent assurance of a client's sustainability report by checking the accuracy of reported data and statements in its sustainability report
  • Develop or assess client's sustainability strategies, sustainability reports and data collection processes
  • Evaluate the environmental and social value of client's investments in sustainability projects through completing social return on investments
  • Assess client's work health, safety and environmental risks and compliance through conducting site audits
  • Gain an understanding of the political, regulatory, market and community drivers related to sustainability and identify how they might impact a client

Job Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Management, Economics or any related course
  • Has at least 3-5 years of professional experience in sustainability, risk management, finance or other related functions
  • Has the passion to help businesses and the country become more sustainable
  • Ability to monitor a large amount of time sensitive and complex client communications
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Ability to think creatively and independently solve problems, and escalate where required
  • Ability to move between tasks seamlessly
  • Works well in a team environment and can also work independently
  • Fluent in the English language and has excellent research skills
