What started with just one employee in 2003, M2.0 now has a total of over 60 full-time staffers composed of a dozen manager/director level employees and more than 50 specialists that work together to go above and beyond the typical narrative. To stay at the forefront of data-driven storytelling, we are continuously in search of talents who will help us develop innovative products and services.

We're seeking a qualified business development specialist to extend our global reach through expert discovery and exploration of new and untapped business opportunities and relationships. Our ideal candidate will be trusted to dive right in, take the lead, use initiative, and help build brands that help make everyday activities easier for people around the world. Highly skilled at sales and business operations, this person will join and inspire a team of like-minded go-getters to achieve our company vision.

What are your responsibilities?

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve company objectives. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for expansion.
  • Business Development: Lead the business development efforts to acquire new clients and expand our client base. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, industry partners, and influencers.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive threats. Utilize insights to inform strategic decisions and develop targeted marketing strategies.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with the creative and account teams to develop compelling proposals and pitches for potential clients. Tailor solutions to meet the specific needs and objectives of each client.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through effective client acquisition and retention strategies. Set ambitious sales targets and develop plans to achieve them, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the business development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Mentor team members and support their professional development.
  • Networking: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to raise awareness of our brand and build relationships with potential clients and partners.

Minimum Qualifications

Are you right for the role?

To be successful in this role, you are expected to exhibit both technical skills and personal qualities that align with M2.0's values and culture. The ideal M2.0 candidate must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in winning clients through strategic planning, business development, and sales within the PR industry or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of PR principles, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing and motivating a team.
  • Ability to think strategically, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving results.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php50, Php60,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
