The Head of Operations oversees and manages all aspects of hotel and resort operations, aiming to ensure that all departments function efficiently and effectively to provide exceptional guest services and meet business goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and oversee the daily activities of all hotel departments, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and guest services.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures and standards to improve efficiency and maintain service excellence.
  • Coordinate with department heads to facilitate smooth communication and workflow across different areas of the hotel.
  • Monitor operational performance metrics to identify areas needing improvement and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Manage recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of staff to ensure a motivated and skilled team.
  • Address guest concerns and implement service enhancements to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to devise strategies for revenue growth and higher occupancy rates.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards to provide a secure and pleasant environment for guests and staff.
  • Oversee budgeting and financial planning to optimize resource allocation and control costs.
  • Spearhead strategic initiatives to boost operational efficiency, guest experience, and overall business performance.
  • Cultivate a positive work environment that emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in hotel operations management, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of hospitality industry trends, best practices, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and resource management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
