The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to hit hog and other farm products sales targets across all farms. He/she monitors the execution of the strategies and manages the activities and performance of the Sales Coordinators to ensure that standard sales practices are being executed effectively.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. IMPLEMENT SALES STRATEGIES TO HIT TARGETS AND INCREASE FEEDS SALES

1.2Implement plans and programs to ensure sales per KG is the highest possible in the market

1.3Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers

1.4Provide research-based suggestions to the Management to save costs and increase profits

2. MONITOR THE EXECUTION OF SALES STRATEGIES AND ACTIVITIES OF THE SALES COORDINATORS

2.1 Keep track of the latest updates in relation to pricing, promotions, and other customer requirements when it comes to the quality of hogs

2.2 Check if Sales Coordinators are consistently following the set pricing standards

2.3 Monitor releasing activities and implement timely release of hogs to the market

3. APPROVE REQUISITIONS AND REQUESTS, AND OTHER ACTIVITIES RELATED TO SALES

3.1 Review all purchase requisitions and check if within the budget

3.3 Review monthly work schedule submitted by Sales Coordinators

4. SUBMIT VARIOUS REPORTS TO THE GENERAL MANAGER, BUSINESS UNIT HEAD, AND FINANCE DEPARTMENT

4.1 Prepare monthly ManCom sales reports

4.2 Provide weekly sales update to Business Unit Head

4.3 Submit daily sales report across all farms to Finance Department

5.1 Oversee the execution of duties and responsibilities

5.2 Implement appropriate disciplinary measures to subordinate/s whenever necessary

5.3 Recommend training and development programs to enhance subordinate's skills

5.4 Provide coaching and feedback regarding performance and behavior as needed

5.5 Evaluate subordinate's performance every quarter and/or as needed

6. CONFORM WITH REGULATORY AND STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS

6.1. Practice Corporate Values, SOPs, GMPs

6.2. Conform to corporate quality requirements, statutory and regulatory requirements

6.3. Report any food safety related issues to identified personnel under the food safety team

Education:

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Business Management and Operations Management

Experience:

At least 3 years of working experience as a Sales Manager

Skills:

  • Preferably with Interpersonal Skills; Can negotiate with different clients
  • Knowledgeable in Sales and Marketing
  • Has a driver's license
