JOB TITLE: Inventory Analyst / Controller

DEPARTMENT: Warehouse Department

REPORTING TO: President / Vice President

JOB SUMMARY: The Inventory Analyst is responsible for managing and analyzing inventory levels to ensure the company maintains optimal stock levels to meet customer demands while minimizing costs. This role involves detailed data analysis, forecasting, and collaboration with various departments to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible in managing the entire warehouse day-to-day activities, which includes planning, organizing, and controlling all aspects of storage and distribution process.
  • Maintains the physical condition of the warehouse, ensures that all necessary equipment is in good condition and requests repairs and acquisitions when necessary.
  • Implement and oversee security and admin operations.
  • Prepare documentation and keep accurate records of warehouse activities
  • Assist during deliveries when necessary.
  • Evaluates the performance of warehouse personnel and recommends proper action.
  • Coordinates with interfacing department.
  • Performs other task that may be assigned from time to time.
  • Performing a regular inventory count.
  • Maintaining and improving the company's inventory situation by analyzing inventory statistics to determine which products are selling and which are not.
  • Reporting inventory statistics to management and suggesting improvements to inventory control.
  • Creating and maintaining inventory databases and systems for accurately managing inventory.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools
  • Experience with inventory management software is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
