In this exciting role, based in Pasig City you will provide technical and scientific expertise in the development and manufacture of beverages, working with customers in Philippines to develop integrated flavour and ingredients solutions to meet our customers' needs and deliver food experiences. You will also help to identify business opportunities and inspire creativity by creating an interface between Technical, Sales, and Marketing teams.

You will report to the Technical Manager of Taste & Wellbeing.

Your role will include:

Support customer projects, and research process by preparing and selecting flavours and maintaining data relevant to flavour portfolio, according to EH&S policies and our needs

Prepare flavoured food products for customer projects, presentations and research projects

Select flavours for projects according to specified requirements (such as customer, regulatory, legislation, and technical costs)

Participate in evaluations of flavours in food applications for briefs, research projects and portfolio evaluations

Assist in tasting sessions and presentations to customers/visitors

Manage flavour data and recipe documentation for food products

Maintain the flavour performance data for the flavour portfolio through evaluation in finished product and capture of profiles

Maintain a safe, clean and organized lab environment observing EH&S policies

Your professional profile includes:

Polytechnic or B.S. in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology or related area

Minimum 8 years of experience in a research and development or food applications in beverage and sweet goods with a specialization in at least 3 application segments (coffee powder, other powder beverages, RTDs, Juice and Juice Drinks)

Understanding of research documentation protocol

Knowledge of lab equipment and materials used to perform lab functions

Knowledge of safety, hygiene and environmental guidelines/requirements

Knowledge of our selected food products and their production processes

Basic understanding of the financial aspects of flavour selection (cost-in-use, margins)

Tasting skills and ability to describe the flavour profile of the product
