Job description

Job Title: HR Assistant

Location: San Juan

Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday

Job Summary: The HR Assistant will support the HR department in various functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and administration. The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:Assist in the recruitment process including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial screenings.Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires including orientation sessions and documentation.Employee Records Management:Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.Process HR documents such as employment contracts, amendments, and terminations.Payroll and Benefits Administration:Assist with the administration of payroll, ensuring timely and accurate processing.Support the enrollment and administration of employee benefits programs.Employee Relations:Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts in a professional and confidential manner.Performance Management:Support the performance appraisal process by tracking evaluation dates and coordinating with managers.Assist in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans.Training and Development:Coordinate training sessions and workshops for employees.Maintain records of training activities and employee participation.Compliance:Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.Assist with the preparation and submission of HR reports to management and regulatory bodies.General Administration:Provide administrative support to the HR department including filing, data entry, and correspondence.Assist in organizing company events and activities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.1 year of experience in an HR role or administrative support.Strong understanding of HR principles and practices.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Excellent organizational and time management skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.High level of discretion and confidentiality.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
