We're currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Officer, Finance Solutions Analyst 2 - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Finance Solutions Analyst 2 - C10) based in Citi Plaza, Taguig City, Philippines. The Controllers Systems & Data Operations (CSDO) is with Cross Platform Services team. This role applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. Identifies policy gaps and formulates policies. Interprets data and makes recommendations. It needs passion for User Acceptance Testing and drive change of any scale within the organization. Researches and interprets factual information. Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team.

In this role, you're expected to:

• Provide updates/metrics relating to functionality validation, errors and associated workarounds suggestions for daily tracking and reporting of testing activities
• Understand Business Requirement for changes in the Operational processes / Software functionality.
• Understand key concepts of financial products and data flow within banking organization.
• Write test plan, cases and scripts based on requirements documents working closely with Requirements Delivery team and FRD team.
• Perform product certification to user acceptance testing through execution of agreed test plan and scripts which will require a strong emphasis on logical and analytical skills coupled with strong technical acumen.
• Work closely with Technology UAT support team in setting up UAT test environment.
• Manage UAT activities including necessary documentation and required communications, testing status, and operational readiness. The change should be owned e-2-e.
• Manage defect entry activities and work with development team to assist in defect resolution as needed.
• Attend regular calls to address any data needs, test planning, and test execution.
• Participate in implementation of best practices and process improvements. Plays a part in settling and operating necessary forums and frameworks to establish and govern policies and starts for global Finance processes
• Coordinate with technology and business stakeholders and manage required test status related communications to Project Management office and to the Requirements delivery support team.
• Contributes to the design, roll-out and governance of financial solutions, including: Participates in formulating and setting strategic direction for the process, organization and architecture covering Finance across Citi businesses, products, functions and locations
• Assists in setting business and information architecture standards for Finance
• Participates in assessing and incorporating changing business, regulatory and market information needs into finance processes and applications
• Manages implementation of procedures and development of analyses and report.
• Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic knowledge of related industry practices.
• Delivering of routine and defined outputs.
• Escalates problems or issues relating to transactions, processes, reports or, procedures.
• Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

As a successful candidate, you'd ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• Understanding of financial products and services. At least 4+ years of experience in financial products and services.
• Proficient knowledge of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the goals of the area.
• Has working knowledge of industry practices and standards.
• Understand DBMS concepts, can write SQL queries and basic knowledge of UNIX file transfer.
• Knowledge of UAT testing cycles and coordinating with the Business and technology groups
