Can you face the challenge? Here's what you will do in this role:

Establish and Implement Risk Management Framework

  • Assist in the development and updating of risk management policies and procedures.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential organizational and operational risks including business continuity planning and crisis management evaluations.
  • Utilize statistical tools and risk management software to analyze data and identify trends.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address identified risks.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies and adjust as necessary.
  • Foster a risk-aware culture within the organization through effective communication and education.
  • Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis to identify risk factors.

Maintain the Company's Insurance Program

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive insurance framework to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks through appropriate insurance coverage.
  • Collaborate with insurance brokers and underwriters to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and risk appetite.

KYC and Due Diligence

  • Establish the KYC and Due Diligence framework and perform, as needed, due diligence on clients (KYC) and suppliers (procurement) to evaluate their financial stability, regulatory compliance, and reputational risk.
  • Analyze financial statements, conduct background checks, and assess adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Provide recommendations based on due diligence findings to support decision-making processes.

Address Third-Party Due Diligence

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for addressing due diligence inquiries from third parties.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure timely responses to external requests.
  • Maintain transparency and compliance in all interactions with third parties.

General Risk Assessments

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather relevant data and insights for risk assessments.
  • Prepare comprehensive risk assessment reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.

Are you qualified? Here's what you need

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Master's in Risk Management) preferred.
  • Four to six (4-6) years of experience in risk management, finance and insurance, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in risk management software and tools and an understanding of ERAMBA is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proven experience in conducting due diligence on clients, suppliers, and third parties.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex information and identify key risk factors.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a cross-functional team environment and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
