Description

We are looking for a dedicated and supportive Supervisor to coach and motivate our team. The supervisor will be responsible for hiring and training call center representatives, ensuring they are well prepared for their roles. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to act as a resource.

Responsibilities

Organize, direct, and monitor daily activities of customer service representativesDistribute workloads, monitor performance, and review productivityObserve service calls for technical accuracy and adherence to company policies, providing feedback as necessaryAnalyze productivity and complete employee evaluationsAddress questions from representatives and clients, recommending corrective action for complaintsMaintain composure during challenging callsEstablish procedures, coordinate schedules, and manage workflowPrepare reports and correspondence as neededCompile status and work volume reports for managementInterview, train, and reward team membersManage disciplinary issues and escalate when necessaryStrong knowledge of the medical billing industry, healthcare claims processing, ICD-9/10, CPT, HCPC codes, and 1500 formsAssist with the implementation of policies and procedures to comply with federal state, and third-party billing and collections regulationsHandle and disclose patients' protected health information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA standards Secondary FunctionsEnhance professional growth through meetings and educational programsReports any irregularities in the client cash or denial posting process promptly to the Billing Supervisor RequirementsBachelor's Degree/B.A. or equivalent, with two to four years of related experience, or a comparable mix of education and experience1-3 years in a supervisory roleWith minimum 1 year of Healthcare Account Receivable/Collections in a BPO setting or environment (claims payments processing, claims status and tracking, Medical Billing, AR Follow-Ups, Denials and Appeals)Familiarity with Epic, GE, and eClinicalWorks is a plus Working ConditionsPhysical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to move around the work area; Sit; perform manual tasks; operate tools and other office equipment such as computer, computer peripherals and telephones; extend arms; kneel; talk and hearMental Demands: The employee must be able to follow directions, collaborate with others, and handle stressWork Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal
