Job Description

We are seeking a highly-skilled, experienced, and proactive content strategist to join our marketing team A successful candidate will have a very strong background in writing English content for marketing purposes and at least 5 years of doing the same. You will work alongside the founder of the business to formulate a content-drive marketing strategy primarily for the following areas:

Email Marketing (campaign and automation) SEO Content and SEO Optimization Website Content Social Media Content Strategy

You will develop content calendar plans and also work through the execution and creation of the content. You must be able to write yourself and have strong research skills, but it is a plus if you can demonstrate the ability to utilize ChatGPT and other similar tools to improve your output.

As this team grows, a successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead a team of content marketers and potentially grow to run a larger part of the marketing team. To achieve this growth path, candidates would need to demonstrate team leadership skills during the first 3 to 6 months on the job.

Please understand that our target market is business owners and business leaders who are looking to hire and recruit talent to grow their businesses and improve their profitability. It is a plus if you can demonstrate experience working in this area.

You will be working remotely for a US-based business with US-based clients, but you will be a part of a team located in the Philippines. This is a full-time role and requires you to commit all of your working time to this position and company.

Responsibilities

Develop, manage, and execute all content strategies for marketing Develop a process for planning, drafting, editing, and approving content within the team, and alongside other leadership Plan marketing automation workflows and work alongside our CRM/Marketing Automation team to implement (email and SMS marketing) Utilize tools such as and ChatGPT to help improve the speed at which content is created. Measure the success of content strategies and formulate plans for improvement Develop recurring systems for content creation that allow scale. Make recommendations to the business owner for other roles that need to be filled to grow the marketing team. Oversee content SEO across the website Formulate new content marketing strategies Demonstrate leadership, teamwork, collaboration, motivation, and accountability with remote work

Requirements

Strong English speaking, writing, and comprehension 5+ years working in a similar role to produce English content. Experience developing marketing automation and email marketing strategies Experience utilizing AI such as ChatGPT, and the ability to demonstrate how they are used to improve but not replace the content marketing process Experience using SEMRush to complete keyword research Experience applying SEO best practices to your content Formal education in advanced English writing Experience using standard office and document processing software such as Microsoft Office and Google Docs Zoho CRM experience is a plus. Strong internet connection and full remote work setup (monitor, strong computer, web camera, microphone or headset) Working with the team live based on the USA time zone
