Position Summary:

The company is seeking a talented and experienced Content Writer to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the insurance/finance industry and a proven track record of producing high-quality content. You will be responsible for creating, editing, and optimizing content across various platforms to support marketing and communication efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Write, edit, and proofread engaging and informative content, including blog posts, articles, white papers, case studies, and web content related to the insurance industry.
  • Research: Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to ensure accuracy and relevance in all content produced.
  • SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic to the website.
  • Content Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute content strategies that align with business goals and target audience needs.
  • Social Media: Create compelling content for social media platforms to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
  • Industry Updates: Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure content remains current and valuable to our audience.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of content writing experience, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Bachelors degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Ability to simplify complex topics and create clear, concise, and engaging content.
  • Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms.
  • Strong research skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Able to provide sample work portfolio to the hiring company


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with insurance terminology and regulatory environment.
  • Experience in creating content for B2B audiences in the United States
  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools.
