Our respected client is seeking a banking professional for the job HR Officer who has a background in banking industry and is well-versed in all facets of HR. The job is based in BGC, Taguig City, Philippines.

Job Summary:

Responsible for full end-to-end administration of the following HR functions: Payroll, Compensation and Benefits, Recruitment, Training Administration, Employee Engagement / Events Management, Policies and procedures / Employee Relations

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Ensure quality and compliance by effectively communicating HR policies, procedures, programs, and laws.
  • Bolster morale and motivation by recommending employee relations practices to foster positive employer-employee relationships.
  • Guides managers and supervisors through progressive disciplinary steps, offering coaching and advice on employee relations matters.
  • Identify gaps in current job descriptions and updating descriptions as needed.
  • Aids in maintaining HR policies and procedures as directed by HR management.
  • Handles general administration tasks including purchasing, vendor coordination, contract monitoring, filing, and other administrative duties.
  • Supports expatriates with visa processing, health insurance, and lease concerns.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 5 years experience in related field.
  • Can manually compute payroll using MS Excel.
  • Must be knowledgeable in end-to-end payroll processing, from timekeeping up to releasing of pay slip.
  • Must be knowledgeable in Statutory benefits, computation of Tax Annualization, processing and submission of BIR Alphalist.
  • Familiar with the Labor Law.
  • Can do end-to-end recruitment, from job posting up to onboarding.
  • Confidently communicate with Korean Nationals.
  • Can confidently be a bridge between local staff and expats.
  • Must be okay with manual HR process.
  • Must be proactive and with initiative.
  • Can work onsite in BGC.
