The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for the purchasing of replacement parts inventory and all approved purchases of goods and services, using standard preset methods from purchasing reports. Job functions include: ordering parts and all approved purchases of goods and services for monthly and emergency orders, returns to vendors, receiving inventory into the warehouse, etc. In addition they should supply management with monthly performance reports.

The Purchasing Coordinator will work closely with the Purchasing Manager, Parts Customer Service Reps, Parts Warehouse.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Order replacement parts using the "Forecasting / Purchasing Report"


• Ordering all approved purchases of goods and services


• Assisting Parts Coordination with ordering, shipping and tracking non-stock items


• Enter new inventory items into the system using standard methods


• Return overstock items to vendor


• Weekly and monthly reporting, including:

oTotal number of backordered parts in system weekly

oOpen Order Report for each vendor monthly

oOther reports as management request

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED AND PREFERRED:


• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in inventory management and purchasing


• Proficient with Microsoft 365 Office – Excel, Word, Outlook


• Knowledge and experienced with systems such as Solomon, CRM, and other applications are preferred
