Job Description
The Service Engineer is a key member of our Technical Services Team, collaborating closely with Sales Managers, Product Specialists, and other Service Engineers to address and report customers' feedback effectively. This role entails proactively growing business and expanding networks within assigned territories, while also managing and maintaining customer accounts to create demand and ensure satisfaction. Additionally, the Service Engineer is responsible for collecting accounts receivables, developing sales strategies, setting targets, and maximizing ROI for the territory through meticulous planning and organization. With a focus on building and maintaining major customer accounts, conducting market research, and staying updated on products and competitors, this position plays a crucial role in driving sales and fostering customer relationships. Regular visits to customer premises, including contract research organizations, pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, tissue and blood banks, research labs, and diagnostic/reference laboratories, are essential for understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

● Ensures that all equipment and analyzers are fully functional and producing good quality results

● Ensures that all equipment and analyzers are properly maintained and calibrated

● Assist Sales Department in providing good and quality customer service to clients

● Assist Marketing Department in promoting our products

● Ensure that all equipment and analyzers are functioning cost effectively with minimal operating cost and expenses

● Ensures sufficient inventory of spare parts and equipment

● Ensures full machine functionality with minimal breakdown and reworks

● Conduct corrective maintenance of laboratory instruments and hospital equipment and devices

● Conduct Troubleshooting Thru Phone (TTP) on service concerns received

● Ensures proper endorsement to end users, chief medtechs, laboratory supervisor regarding instrument status, performance, preventive maintenance schedule and corrective maintenance update

● Conduct preventive maintenance of laboratory instruments and hospital equipment and devices

● Ensures preventive maintenance schedules were followed and preventive maintenance procedures were done

● Evaluate instrument durability, stability, software performance and overall performance

● Conduct pre-installation visit, site assessment, coordination, installation planning and pre- installation requirement compliance

● In-charge of installation, commissioning and decommissioning of laboratory instruments and hospital equipment and devices including customer operation trainings

● Checking, testing, rehabilitation, pre-installation inspection and evaluation of laboratory, medical, hospital equipment and medical devices

● Updates and reports to service supervisor regarding received service calls, installation and troubleshooting updates, customer queries, service inquiries and other service related concerns and activities

● Update sales representative assigned regarding instrument status, troubleshooting status, installation progress and reports any sales related concerns

● Provide weekly itinerary, preventive maintenance schedules, machine status report and ensure schedules and itineraries were met and done

● Return company and non-company owned spare parts, defective, used and unused, with service reports and proper documentation

● Provide customer satisfactory service to all clients internal and external

● Issue Calibration, Preventive Maintenance and Testing Certificates on analyzer and equipment

● Perform other tasks as assigned by management to support departmental and

organizational objectives.

Willing to be assigned in La Union or Bicol

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
