Must-Have Skills:

  • Proven experience in Australian public practice bookkeeping.
  • Bachelors degree in accounting.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience using MYOB.
  • High level of technical knowledge and problem-solving ability.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changes.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workload effectively.

Job Summary:

This role requires you to undertake all bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, BAS preparation, and payroll. You will manage end-to-end transaction allocation and accounts management, as well as assist in preparing financial reports.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities of a financial controller.
  • Collaborate with your supervisor for training in technical knowledge and work review.
  • Execute all tasks required of a bookkeeper.
  • Work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Report to and take direction from your manager.
  • Apply and demonstrate knowledge of accounting concepts.
