In this role, you will undertake daily cash and bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and integrity. Additionally, you will assist the Senior Accountant in preparing fortnightly payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees. You will also be responsible for conducting the weekly expense pay run and managing the monthly payment of Tutors in coordination with Management. Furthermore, you will provide support in maintaining the cash flow forecast and monitoring cash in the bank to ensure a healthy level is maintained on a weekly basis. Salary: PHP 60,000 to 100,000

Take Charge of Financial Fortunes

Perform daily cash and bank reconciliations.Assist the Senior Accountant with preparing fortnightly payroll.Manage weekly expense pay run alongside Management.Oversee monthly payment of Tutors alongside Management.Support the maintenance of cash flow forecast and cash in the bank, ensuring a healthy level is maintained on a weekly basis.Manage corporate card reconciliations for 2 corporate cards on a timely and monthly basis.Monitor and report expense variances and activity on a monthly basis.Manage and monitor AP balances every month, aligning with the cash flow forecast.Conduct fixed assets management and reconciliations.Perform month-end close activities including balance sheet reconciliations and review of the profit and loss statement.Execute month-end account entries such as revenue recognition, fixed assets, depreciation, accruals, prepayments, and recurring journals.Undertake other tasks and projects as directed by Management or other leaders in the company.Count on Skills: We're Looking for Numbers WizardsBusiness degree with a major in Finance or Accounting.5+ years of professional experience as a Bookkeeper for AU-based clients.Multisector experience is advantageous.Experience using accounting software such as Xero.Experience in audits and direct interaction with auditors.Experience in improving processes to enhance efficiency and streamline operations.Experience in start-ups and small-scale companies.Proficient in Microsoft tools, especially Excel.Proficient in Google Suite.Proactive, positive, and can-do attitude.Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.Analytical problem-solving skills and effective communication with diverse stakeholders.Counting Perks: Enjoy a Balanced Life and Exciting Career GrowthHMO coverageCompetitive PackagePermanent WFH set-upDay Shift scheduleStandard government and Emapta benefitsWell-equipped, modern, and accessible officesFun engagement activities for employeesMentorship and exposure to global leaders and teamsMeet the Masters of Education: Where Numbers Meet Knowledge
