  • Job Purpose

The Data Science Officer is primarily responsible for delivering on various data analytics initiatives of the Division, which may cover AML, Data Privacy, and other compliance-related matters. The Data Analytics Officer is further responsible for his/her own continuous training and development to stay abreast of technical and business developments and to ensure high-level tactical data analytics and models produced by the Department.

  • Main Accountabilities

3.1. Functional Excellence – Uses appropriate tools and methods in efficient execution of project deliverables, ensuring quality delivery of the overall project to the Division.

3.2 Business Savvy – Acts as an internal consultant of the Division's functional units by engaging them, understanding their data needs and providing them with the best possible solutions and analysis that match their needs.

3.3 Achievement of Results – Attains objectives, alone or together with a team of other data scientists, within the agreed turnaround time while ensuring that pertinent internal as well as regulatory guidelines and procedures are kept and followed.

3.4 Self-Development – Seeks out and completes relevant development programs to ensure continuous upgrading of skills and competency on data science and compliance.
