Urgent Hiring Start ASAP: Service Desk Team Lead - BGC Site

Help Desk & IT Support (Information & Communication Technology)

  • More than 2 years of experience in handling Service desk.
  • Team Player with fair amount of exposure in working with large organizations.
  • Professional approach with flexibility in adapting to different culture and environments.

Technical skills

  • Knowledge of Knowledge base for incident/request resolution procedure
  • Analyze and troubleshoot a wide range of queries via phone, chat, self-service tickets or email.
  • Knowledge Sharing / Cross Training of applications
  • Experience in Application support would be an add-on.
  • Logging a detailed documentation in the tool
  • Knowledge in troubleshooting mobile devices in Android and iOS platform (Mobile phones and Tablets).
  • Basic knowledge on troubleshooting Mac computers.
  • Experience in handling various Virtual WorkStations (Linux/Windows) related issues.
  • Expert knowledge on service now ticketing system, ADUC,
  • Strong communications skills to communicate complex technical information toward non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as to collaborate in team.
  • People skills necessary to support non-technical profiles in the problem-solving process.

  • Ready for shifting schedule.
  • Prefer acceptable proximity near BGC site.

Task and Responsibilities

  • Experience in strategies, metrics, methodology and software, skilled in use of internet, software applications including PowerPoint, Word. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals, setting clear goals and targets, and ensuring they are met.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to team members to improve their performance.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback and recognition to team members.
  • Monitor team performance and take corrective action when necessary to ensure goals are achieved.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team productivity and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of team performance and progress towards goals.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to achieve company-wide objectives.
  • Act as a liaison between the team and upper management, communicating team goals and progress.
