We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Human Resources Specialist with a strong background in technical and legal aspects to oversee HR operations and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The Human Resources Specialist will play a key role in implementing policies and procedures, and providing guidance on complex HR matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to management and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management and disciplinary actions.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and allegations of misconduct, ensuring thorough documentation and adherence to legal protocols.
  • Manage employee documentation, including contracts, agreements, and personnel files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel to address employment-related legal issues, such as labor disputes, discrimination claims, and wage and hour compliance.
  • Stay informed about changes in labor laws, regulations, and industry trends, and update HR policies and practices accordingly.
  • Conduct training sessions for management and employees on HR policies, compliance requirements, and best practices.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2- 5 years of experience in Human Resources roles, with a focus on technical and legal aspects.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, including but not limited to FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and EEOC guidelines.
  • Experience in conducting investigations, resolving employee disputes, and providing expert advice on HR-related legal matters.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, payroll systems, and other HR software tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex and sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy.
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From Php25,000.00 per month
