Responsible for:

• Managing accredited institutions, borrowers, and after-sales requests
• Timely resolution of past due accounts
• Selling of products and increasing of portfolio

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Do site/ area visit (field work) in various areas in Mindanao
• Conduct sales engagements with accredited institutions
• Gather market information on clients, regulators and accredited institutions
• Ensure that clients' concerns are immediately addressed, or referred to immediate leader for appropriate action
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all billing documents
• Ensure that all remittances are received monthly without delay
• Ensure that clients with past due accounts are properly negotiated without losing the client's approval and support
• Perform tasks that may be assigned by the immediate head

Job Qualifications and Competencies Requirement:

• Graduate of any 4-year business course (Bachelor's Degree)
• With 2 years' experience in banking, microfinance, loans are an advantage
• Willing to travel to different areas in Mindanao
• With solid experience in sales and fieldwork
• Problem-solving skills
• Works with integrity
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Has sense of urgency and accountability

Loans Specialist for MATI, Davao Occidental

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Do site/ area visits (Field work)
• Perform Sales and Marketing on bank's products
• Do client engagement, perform product orientation, and other marketing strategies of the bank.
• Facilitate Loan Application to Clients
• Verify and check the validity and authenticity of loan application document attachments
• conduct of "Know Your Customer" and loans underwriting
• Perform credit background
• Ensures efficient loan document preparation and loan processing
• Facilitate approval of loan application
• Monitor loan application status
• Make sure to do accurate, complete and timely loan report preparation and submission.
• Make sure to accurately monitor loans to achieve low to zero past due rate.
• Ensure all releases are billed and duly deducted on the identified effectivity date
• Assist in collection and promotion activities

JOB QUALIFICATION AND COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENT:

• Graduate of at least a 4-year course, preferably Business-related courses
• With background in Loans and Microfinance is an advantage
• A resident of the area or of nearby places (within 30 min travel time to the store location)

On October 31, 2013, EWRB acquired the good assets of Green Bank, Inc. (also known as the Rural Green Bank of Caraga), the largest rural bank in the Caraga Region in terms of assets. Based in Butuan City, Agusan del Norte, Green Bank has been serving the needs of mostly farmers, government and private employees, barangay officials, pensioners and small-scale businessmen. Through Green Bank's strong branch network in the Visayas and Mindanao, EastWest is able to gain entry into the microfinance business.

Before the asset acquisition, Green Bank, Inc. has been known as a multi-awarded trailblazer in the area of housing microfinance. It was one of the first participating banks under the Microenterprise Access to Banking Services (MABS), a program designed to accelerate national economic transformation by encouraging Philippine rural banks to significantly expand the financial services they offer to microentrepreneurs and low-income households in the countryside. Green Bank was also recognized as among the first to use the services of an independent credit ratings agency to boost its loan quality.

Backed by the strong track record of the entities behind it, EastWest Rural Bank will be able to cater to the underserved segments of the market specifically in the provincial areas and provide wider access to innovative products and delivery channels.
