Position Overview:
As the Business Development Head for the real estate industry, you will be instrumental in driving the growth and expansion of EL Construction & Development Group. Your primary responsibility will be to identify new project opportunities, lead detailed negotiations, and coordinate with various divisions to determine project viability for management approval. Additionally, you will play a critical role in maintaining continuous communication and building strong relationships with Local Government Units (LGUs) throughout the development process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify New Project Opportunities: Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential real estate development opportunities aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Negotiation and Coordination: Lead negotiations with landowners, investors, and other stakeholders to secure land acquisition and development agreements. Coordinate with internal divisions such as legal, finance, and construction to ensure alignment and feasibility.
  • Project Viability Assessment: Conduct thorough feasibility studies and financial analysis to determine the viability of potential projects. Present findings to the management team for approval to proceed.
  • Continual Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between the company and LGUs, maintaining regular communication and fostering positive relationships throughout the project lifecycle. Address any concerns or issues in a timely and proactive manner.
  • Relationship Building: Act as the key lead in building and nurturing relationships with LGUs, community leaders, and other stakeholders. Collaborate with local officials to navigate regulatory requirements and secure necessary approvals for development projects.
  • Strategic Planning: Work closely with the executive team to develop and execute strategic plans for real estate development initiatives. Identify emerging trends and market opportunities to drive growth and innovation.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about local real estate market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes. Use market insights to inform decision-making and identify potential risks or opportunities.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare comprehensive reports and analysis on business development activities, including project status, financial performance, and market trends. Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in real estate development, land acquisition, or related roles, with a strong track record of success.
  • Deep understanding of real estate market dynamics, trends, and regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to evaluate project feasibility and financial viability.
  • Experience working with LGUs and navigating regulatory processes is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
