We are looking for a skilled software developer with 5-10 years of experience to join our Moreton Bay Technology across a variety of teams, including the data science team, technical customer support and next-generation app development.

The ideal candidate will have experience with C#, MVC, Telerik/SSRS Reports, Oracle PLSQL, Blazer/MAUI, and Vue. As a software developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that meet our clients' needs. You will also be involved in the development of new software applications, as well as the enhancement of existing ones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing and maintaining software applications and their architecture, including front and back-end design and implementation.
  • Developing custom solutions to meet our clients needs.
  • Perform debugging and optimisation of code as required to ensure high reliability and low latency.
  • Writing clean, efficient and well-documented code.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex software problems
  • Assist with growing the team, promoting a positive team culture and assisting with developing our internal practice.

Required Skills:

  • 5-10 years of experience in software development.
  • Strong experience with C#, ASP.Net, MVC, Telerik/SSRS Reports, Oracle PLSQL, Blazor/MAUI, and Vue.
  • Experience with Agile Development Process and Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with WebApi, Message Queue (Rabbit MQ), Micro Service Architecture, and Subscription API.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure or OCI.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Oracle Cloud.

  • Experience with test-driven development and automated testing, and confidence building CI/CD pipelines (preferred).
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) and microservices architecture (preferred).
  • Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React or Angular (Preferred).
  • Good understanding of security best practices.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • Experience in using AWS, MS Azure, Oracle Cloud or GCP services.
  • Any associate Cloud Certification
  • Familiarity with Python is a bonus.
