As a core member of the CFS European Real Assets team, you will assist the business in developing and executing on its Operational Control and Legal Entity Oversight management framework. You will work closely with local business leads for the European legal entities. As a first line you will also work closely with second- and third-line stakeholders and you will need to identify, assess and propose mitigating actions in close collaboration with the respective stakeholders across CFS and where applicable Group functions.

Risk and Control, the successful candidate will be instrumental in the achievement of the strategic objectives of the Risk & Control function, the growth and development of the team skillset across locations, the execution of the annual SOC 1 engagement, control testing, management reporting and the cultivation of successful relationships with key stakeholders across multiple divisions/locations within Citco.

Your Role:

  • Support the organization in implementing an effective and efficient risk management and control framework in a collaborative manner.
  • Develop and foster excellent professional relationships with business management, external auditors and R&C staff
  • Manage the execution of the annual SOC 1 engagement in a quality manner including the design and documentation of the control framework and timely work paper completion and review
  • Manage the execution and expansion of periodic quality control testing program including the design and documentation of the control framework, timely work paper completion and ongoing management reporting
  • Manage the preparation of management reporting to a high professional standard, and presentation of reporting to stakeholders on various topics including but not limited to SOC 1 and control effectiveness monitoring, initial scope documents, quarterly reporting and ad hoc reporting
  • Liaise with business management and their clients/investors as required in support of various activities including but not limited to client/investor inquiries, due diligence meetings, onsite visits, marketing proposals and board reporting
  • Contribute to the development of R&C policies and procedures
  • Process improvement: Identify process and procedural gaps/improvement opportunities, propose innovative and creative solutions and execute approved strategies to realize efficiencies within realm of responsibility

About You:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
  • 4-6 years' experience in managing Risk Management process, preferably in Private Equity/Real Assets fund accounting or Risk/Audit role with exposure to Private Equity/Real Assets fund accounting
  • Minimum 4 years' managerial experience
  • Proven relationship management skills
