Position: Sr Project Controller

Location: Bogotá, Colombia.

Role Objective:

Monitoring and cost control of projects and services of the assigned business unit, following up on forecast, accuracy, consolidation of financial reports. Recommend corrective actions and help to deploy and follow up mitigation and/or prevention plans to maximize profit and cash and reduce risk in timely manner.

What would be some of your responsibilities?

· Subject matter expert (SME) in the project tendering phase (calculation review, min GM, fx, overall customer performance,..)

· Recommend corrective actions and help to deploy and follow up mitigation and/or prevention plans to maximize profit and cash and reduce risk in timely manner.

· Provide and monitor relevant financial support to Project Managers (as SPOC), including commercial documents/Forex/trade compliance/tax as necessary.

· Over and Under-recovery mgmt. / utilization including initiation of corrective actions.

· Provide monthly project and portfolio reporting and analysis, ad-hoc reports as required, including, but not limited to forecasting and variance analysis, and split at organizational unit level.

· Ensure proper allocation of project costs by tracking internal and external purchasing and labor costs.

· Partner with Local, Regional, and Global teams to provide financial support in terms of data stewardship, metrics, analysis, reporting and compliance.

Qualifications

Do you have these key experiences and qualifications?

·4+ years in similar positions

·Knowledge in financial control of medium and low voltage power projects is a plus.

·University and/or Business School : Master's degree or equivalent A level +5 years, Finance, Control, Audit, .

·Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Bi or Tableau.

·Fluent in English (another language will be valuable)

·Customer focus (Customer First)

·Experience in Finance & Control and Experience as Finance Business Partner in Project environment

·Experience in a Multi-cultural team environment is a plus.

·Team Building, Business Initiative, Strong communication, Strategic judgment, Result and quality orientation, Business Acumen.
