Head of Project Controls, Renewable Energy - Open to expats

  • Based in the Philippines

Extremely experienced Project Controller required to manage all project controls processes and procedures across the entire renewable energy development portfolio. Excellent opportunity for career growth in the renewable energy market

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project controls processes and procedures across the entire renewable energy development portfolio
  • Oversee project budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, risk management, and reporting
  • Manage a team of project controls specialists
  • Provide training and support to project managers on project controls processes
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project controls effectiveness
  • Work with project teams to ensure that project controls processes are followed
  • Track and report on project performance against key metrics
  • Manage project-related risks and issues
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on project controls data

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in project controls, with a minimum of 5 years in the renewable energy industry
  • Proven track record of success in managing complex projects
  • Strong understanding of project controls methodologies, including earned value management (EVM)
  • Experience with project controls software
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders effectively.
  • Able to be based in the Philippines
