Job Description:

Atticus Advisory Solutions Inc is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr Accountant to join our team in Manila, NCR, Philippines. As a Sr Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll

Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement

Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes

Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements

Prepare budgets and forecasts and provide variance analysis

Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

Manage and mentor junior accounting staff

Assist with external audits and provide necessary support and documentation

Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and industry trends

Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

CPA certification preferred

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations

Experience with financial reporting and analysis

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Strong time management and organizational skills

Experience in the BPO/outsourcing industry is a plus
