Job Responsibilities:

1. Ensures prompt, accurate, and appropriate recording and analysis of financial transactions;2. Oversees the preparation of Disbursement vouchers, verifies propriety of bills and supporting

documentation, and ensures that all disbursements are in accordance with the usual Accounting and Auditing rules and regulations;

3. Promptly prepares monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and notes in accordance with state accounting principles generally accepted in the Philippines, industry practices, and regulatory guidelines for review by the Management and the Audit committee. Prepares needed changes to the financial statements based on review by the management and the Audit committee;

4. Prepares financial analysis of financial statements, including variance analysis for both revenues and expenses, breakeven analysis, etc;

5. Ensures prompt preparation of all financial statutory reports required by the government;6. Prepares financial reports needed for the effective management of programs, projects, and activities;

Taxation7. Conducts tax planning and gets regular updates on tax rules and regulations;8. Ensures compliance with all tax filing and payment requirements;9. Oversees the preparation of all tax-related reporting requirements;

Systems10. Participates in planning, development, and implementation of an integrated financial system, including

implementation of new government UACS (Uniform Accounting Code System), in coordination with the IT Department;

Audit11. Prepares all documentary requirements of the Commission on Audit (COA) in their audit of the

accounts. Assist and cooperate in ensuring a smooth and prompt conduct of audit by the COA;12. Promptly implements all relevant recommendations listed in the COA in the audit report;13. Status monitoring of COA observations and findings;

Budgeting14. Assists in the preparation of related budgetary records and reports by providing actual data;

Others15. Monitors insurance for inclusion of additional and exclusion of unserviceable assets;

16. Prepares semi-monthly payroll of employees and salary of contract service personnel; and 17. Perform other relevant tasks required by the management.
