Role Overview:

The Office of the CIO (OCIO) is a versatile team dedicated to driving operational excellence by effectively communicating, planning, monitoring, and assessing performance for Technology at ING Australia. This team covers CIO business management, strategic planning, commercial management and governance, operations, and performance management in collaboration with various departments.

As the Operations Analyst for Technology, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Expense tracking to support forecasting and budgeting
  • Quality assurance and reconciliation for invoice processing
  • Engagement with team members, stakeholders, and vendors
  • Timely response to queries, risks, and issues
  • Continuous improvement of tools, processes, and reporting
  • Maintenance of shared resources and data integrity

To excel in this role, you must have a positive attitude, a passion for finance and data, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities. Familiarity with PeopleSoft ERP and Microsoft suite is essential. Compliance with ING policies and completion of mandatory training are mandatory.

  • Request to Pay (RTP) Lifecycle Management
  • Record keeping and data accuracy
  • Controls and processes for procurements and finance
  • Timely delivery and minimal rework
  • Business process compliance and stakeholder engagement
  • 20% Commercial Excellence – Financial analysis
  • Expense line items registration and tracking
  • Monitoring vendor spend against budget
  • Data quality improvement and cost reduction initiatives
  • Enhancement of tools and reporting
  • 10% Continuous Improvement & Compliance
  • Adherence to ING processes and policies
  • Risk escalation and process design

Key Capabilities/Experience:

  • Passion for data and problem-solving

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and PeopleSoft ERP
