Business Analyst

ING is seeking a Business Analyst focusing on Data Management.

Purpose:

Do you wish to play a crucial role in upholding ING's reputation and being at the forefront against money laundering and terrorist financing? Join us as a Business Analyst in the Data Management department based in IBSS Manila.

You will actively contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions in areas such as Anti-Money Laundering, Counter Terrorism Financing, Fraud, and Sanctions across 20+ countries, impacting 36 million ING customers. This is vital to offer customers a top-notch KYC experience while ensuring compliance and risk control on a global scale. Collaborate with leading vendors and experts in the field, engaging with diverse colleagues worldwide.

Job Profile:

As a Business Data Analyst, you will analyze data from 20+ countries, working with various services like Transaction Monitoring and Customer Due Diligence. Communication with business and technical stakeholders is key, supporting the definition and monitoring of Data Roadmaps for these countries.

To ensure efficient handling of ING customer data, you will establish requirements and controls to ensure quality data from over 20 countries is available for different applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Help prevent Money Laundering and Financial Crimes globally.
  • Solve intricate IT problems.
  • Analyze business requirements for product and service development.
  • Optimize and automate processes and data.
  • Simplify solutions in a complex IT environment, fostering clarity for international stakeholders.
  • Promote cross-border interaction and alignment among different teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Refine stories for optimization.
  • Provide and solicit constructive feedback.
  • Bridge the gap between business and IT.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree (IT, Engineering, Maths, or Economics/Business).
  • Minimum 3 years of IT process and/or tooling implementation experience.
  • Experience in regulatory/process changes, especially in areas like Financial Crime or Anti Money Laundering.
  • Energetic and approachable demeanor.
  • Focus on collaboration and delivery.
  • Ability to handle multiple topics in an Agile environment.
  • Strong analytical and abstract thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and networking abilities.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Adherence to ING values.
  • Experience in data management and basic data querying.
