This role requires a highly organized and strategic thinker who can collaborate with internal stakeholders, particularly management and country leads, to drive the successful implementation of company goals.Responsibilities1. External Relationship:- Develop a deep understanding of external processes and regulations relevant to the company's operations- Act as a bridge between industry regulatory authorities and business. Follow up on various policies and regulations, and effectively communicate and interpret them, to promptly report the industry's development, achievements, difficulties, or suggestions to regulatory authorities as a key external spokes person- Key point of contact with regulatory officials, industry stakeholders, trade associations, and proactively identifies opportunities to deepen collaborations with key stakeholders for the region assigned- Advise and guide the management team on navigating external relationships and local regulatory landscapes2. Strategic Guidance:- Work closely with the Country Lead and executive team to formulate and articulate strategic initiatives.- Provide insights and recommendations to ensure the company's goals are aligned with regulatory requirements and priorities.3. Internal Stakeholder Collaboration:- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including management and country leads, to gather insights on regional challenges and opportunities.- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments to ensure cohesive implementation of strategic initiatives.- Work with local teams to find opportunities for process improvement and business optimization and recommendation to TikTok Shop

Qualifications

Proven experience working with senior leaders/executives to establish strategic plans and objectives.- Proven experience in leading and partnering with cross-functional team- Solid experience in business management role(s) and superior analytical and project management capabilities. Proven ability in prioritizing workflows, working independently within tight deadlines, and collaborating across teams- Ability to effectively handle ambiguity, to collaborate and partner with business leaders and to be effective in a matrixed multinational corporate environment.- Ability to Influence – strong influencing skills in an external context; plus strong influencing and change management skills to effectively manage internally in a complex matrix environment that is undergoing transformation and change.- External Relations – proven track record of at least 7-8 years in consultancy, corporate, (inter-)governmental organisation or trade association.Preferred Qualifications:- Masters or higher-level degree in Business Administration, Economics, International Relations- Proficiency in English and TagalogByteDance is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
