Key Responsibilities:

Content Strategy and Direction:

Develop and execute content strategies aligned with overarching marketing goals.Organize and drive the editorial calendar, ensuring content is timely, relevant, and impactful.Utilize your journalistic or research-oriented background to identify and build compelling stories from diverse (creative and technical) sources.

Storytelling and Content Creation:

Create compelling content and collaborate with researchers to unearth and develop new story angles.Craft narratives that captivate and engage, leveraging both your creative instincts and analytical skills.Edit and refine technical content to maintain high standards of quality and relevance.

Leadership and Collaboration:

Provide strategic direction to a multidisciplinary creative team, fostering innovation and excellence in execution.Collaborate seamlessly with technical teams, ensuring alignment between content strategy and technical research.Engage with global teams to adapt content strategies for different markets and audiences.

Required Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in content strategy within media/publishing, with a deep understanding of digital content trends and audience preferences.Strong journalistic background, capable of conducting research and synthesizing information into compelling narratives.Keen investigative skills, able to interview and probe subject matter experts to help uncover interesting stories.Excellent content creation and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and storytelling.Technical proficiency is a plus, enabling you to integrate up-to-date technological information into content strategies.Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, adept at working across cultural and geographical boundaries.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Communications, English, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a senior content strategy role within the media or publishing industry.Portfolio of successful content campaigns and strategies that showcase your ability to drive engagement and impact.
