Position Title: Remedial Officer

 

Job Summary:

Responsible for the management and resolution of past due loans as well as potential problem accounts referred by the Group, focusing on the development and implementation of remedial remedies and appropriate action plans with the objective of reducing the Bank’s Non-Performing Loans (NPL); Ensures recovery of loan exposure. Improves collateral/security position; and in specific instances, initiates and sustains legal actions.

 

Role Exposure:

Enhance your skills in credit evaluation, negotiation, and presentationLearn to assess/determine the viability or non-viability of a borrowerGet to coordinate with other units of the bank to ensure smooth and proper implementation and documentation of approved settlement schemes
 

Qualifications:

At least 2-3 years experience in handling loan account recovery of Corporate or Institutional accountsMust have good coordination and communication skillsMust be knowledgeable in credit analysisMust be detail-orientedExcellent negotiation skills
