Access Healthcare is looking for Certified Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) Coders to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in CDI coding and hold an AAPC or AHIMA certification. This role focuses on improving the quality of clinical documentation to ensure accurate coding and compliance with regulatory standards. The candidate must be willing to work onsite in our Pasay City office during a dayshift schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze clinical documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness for coding purposes.Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to clarify and improve documentation for optimal coding and billing outcomes.Assign appropriate ICD-10 and CPT codes to diagnoses and procedures, ensuring compliance with national coding guidelines and payer-specific regulations.Identify opportunities for improving documentation that enhances the accuracy of patient severity, risk adjustment, and reimbursement.Assist in CDI education initiatives, providing feedback and training to medical staff to enhance documentation practices.Conduct regular audits of clinical documentation and coding outputs to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.Stay updated with changes in coding guidelines, CDI best practices, and healthcare regulations.Participate in ongoing quality improvement processes to enhance coding accuracy, documentation quality, and workflow efficiency.

 

Qualifications:

Education & Certification:AAPC or AHIMA certification (CPC, CCS, or equivalent).Experience:Minimum of 3 years of experience in CDI coding.Skills and Competencies:Strong knowledge of clinical documentation standards, ICD-10, and CPT coding systems.Excellent analytical skills to assess and improve clinical documentation.Effective communication skills to collaborate with clinical staff and ensure accurate documentation.Proficiency in coding software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.Ability to work independently and meet productivity and accuracy targets.Commitment to maintaining high compliance standards.
