We are looking for an ambitious and committed Accountant to provide support to the accounting
department by managing daily accounting and operational tasks for the business. The main
responsibilities of the position include recording a wide range of financial transactions such as cash
application, bank reconciliation, A/R-A/P, preparing and maintaining accounting records and financial
statements, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, compiling financial and operational reports,
among others. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles, able to work
comfortably with numbers, and have excellent business acumen and attention to detail.

Main duties and responsibilities of the position include:
 Receiving and recording vouchers, cash, and checks
 Maintaining accounts receivable, issuing customer invoices and supporting documentation
 Maintaining accounts payable, ensure timely payment of merchant invoices, confirming validity of
the debt, and securing appropriate approval of transactions
 Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records, etc.
 Updating financial records; preparing and posting financial transactions and journal entries via
QuickBooks accounting software
 Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet accounts including cash, accounts receivable,
accounts payable, fixed assets, intercompany, prepaids, debt, etc.
 Assist Senior Accountants in the preparation of period-end closings and annual audits

Additional duties and responsibilities may include:
 Producing and analyzing a variety of reports including income statements and balance sheets
 Updating financial and operational data in an accurate and complete manner
 Assist with other business projects, as assigned

Requirements and skills:
 Proven two-years of experience in accounting and/or finance
 Excellent organizational skills
 Ability to work well with numbers and figures
 Great attention to detail and superb analytical insight
 Solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
 Excellent knowledge of MS Office, and experience working with QuickBooks computer software

Qualifications
 BS/BA in accounting, finance, or a relevant field
 MBA, CPA is a plus but not required
