Job Description

As a Junior Accountant, you will primarily provide accounting support for bookkeeping and accounting tasks in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and other applicable platforms for one of our US clients who specialize in offering accounting and financial services to startup organizations. Your responsibilities will include general bookkeeping activities such as adjusting journal entries (AJEs), bank reconciliation, and month-end closing.

Chart Your Course with These Key Responsibilities:

Perform general bookkeeping activities, including adjusting journal entries (AJEs), bank reconciliation, and month-end closing.Facilitate direct communication with clients and team members through various tools, such as chat, email, and occasionally voice communication through Google Meet.Ensure compliance with all data-privacy and data-security protocols.Promote and support a fun, collaborative culture of professionalism and integrity, while building good working relationships with clients and colleagues.Provide feedback and insights on how existing processes can be improved.Participate in employee engagement activities that promote the welfare and a positive atmosphere for the team.Speak up and inform management of ways to improve overall operations and the working atmosphere.Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the client or immediate supervisor/manager.Ensure existing access to reliable internet services at home, as you will be provided with a company computer.
