SUMMARY

The Training Manager is responsible for developing high-quality training team to perform for various programs across the organization. This position works closely with the Director of Training and is responsible for the supervision of the curriculum, trainers, and client relations. In addition, they provide instructional coaching, support, development, needs-based training and guidance for best-practices, compliance support, and quality assurance for their team.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Develops, organizes, and ensures effective facilitation of client-specific training programsEncourages motivating, creative, and interactive training sessions by implementing best-in-class training delivery techniques to enhance the training experienceImproves training effectiveness by developing new approaches and techniques while following approved client curriculaParticipates in the preparation and implementation of training projects within established budgets and timelinesCollects and summarizes relevant client feedback and executes projects to establish standards, improve performance and meet departmental goalsShares relevant information to trainers, supervisors, and managers regarding training processes and procedures following proper information dissemination protocolIdentifies gaps between the training program and operational requirements and recommends and implements solutions to meet objectivesCommits to effective transfer of knowledge by motivating staff and ensuring that information is clarified, and all questions are addressedConducts coaching and mentoring sessions with trainers to identify areas of improvement and opportunities while keeping a written record of all developmental conversationsSupervise client communications, new programs launch, and onboarding process in partnership with key stakeholdersProvide opportunities for on-going staff developmentConduct regular performance evaluations with staff to ensure adherence to training standards set by the organization and the clientProactively identifies training needs and strategizes solutions to improve learning and overall performanceLeads calibration sessions with relevant staff to ensure alignment and consistency in evaluation and scoring relative to training performanceCollaborates with the Instructional Design team to create supplementary trainings (e.g. refresher course, bucket training, etc.) targeting specific area of concern to continuously improve agents’ skillsCreates and manages continuous training initiatives to ensure agents are meeting the processes outlined by the client through identification of gaps within the processesMaintains a robust framework for tracking and reporting new hire performance and training recordsEnsures the trainees’ total compliance to training policies, guidelines, and procedures.Represents the learning and development team during business reviews and client meetingsPerforms other administrative activities necessary.

 

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience is preferredMust have at least two years of experience in leading training teamsMust be able to follow a flexible working schedule based on business needsStrong verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to lead and coach employeesAbility to plan, multitask and manage time effectivelyMust have strong analytical and critical thinking skillsExperience launching new programs or LOBs is highly desirableTelecommunications experience is a plusGood computer and database skillsClient-facing experience is an advantageMust be able to work on-site in Cebu
