Job Summary:

The successful candidate will contribute to improved patient outcomes through their commitment to accuracy and efficiency.

Job Scope:

Perform data entry into various medical record systems and insurance portals, ensuring accuracy and timelinessCall insurance companies to navigate portals, submit pre-authorization requests, and resolve any missing or incorrect informationCommunicate with doctor's office to obtain missing patient information such as insurance details, medical history, and other required documentationAssist in maintaining and updating patient records, ensuring all information is current and accurateProvide administrative support to the healthcare team, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and organizing meetingsAnswer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence related to patient care and administrative tasksPrepare and process medical billing and coding information for insurance claimsMonitor and manage outstanding pre-authorizations and follow up as needed to ensure timely resolutionAssist in training new administrative staff on data entry procedures and the use of medical record systems

Job Qualification:

College to Bachelor’s degree in any related field2+ years of experience in healthcare operations or a related field, such as: Hospital billing, understanding medical coding and insurance HMO liaison, adept at patient communication and advocacy Medical representative, with knowledge of medical products and patient education, Doctor’s secretary, familiar with medical terms, scheduling, and patient interaction

Job Type: Full time; Night shift in an On-site BPO setting
